The Male' City Council, in its weekly sitting, has decided to put up a dedicated warehouse for fiber work in Villimale'.
At the 55th sitting of the City Council, members decided on the site adjacent to WAMCO, and to submit the proposal to the Economic Ministry.
The new warehouse is designed to bring in revenue as lease rent. The Council decided to revisit the issue after previous attempts to find a solution for the relocation of fiber workshops to non-residential areas in Villimale' for health and safety issues, had failed.
