Greening Kambaa Aisaa-rani Hingun under the 'One Hundred Thousand Trees' programme completed

As part of the ongoing 'One Hundred Thousand Trees' greening programme in Male', Kambaa Aisaa-rani Hingun in Male' has been completed.

Tree planting in Kambaa Aisaa-rani Hingun was completed on the first anniversary of the 4th term of the Male' City Council. The programme, which was led by the Mayor of Male', Dr. Mohamed Muizzu, covered the neighbourhood of Jamaaluddin School. A total of 10 mango trees were planted on the street. Mayor Muizzu was joined at the event by some members of the City Council.

In a Tweet dated yesterday, the Mayor noted that the 'One Hundred Thousand Trees' programme was a key component of the 'Beautiful Male'' component of the MCC's Strategic Action Plan. The programme is expected to encompass the entire city, with selected varieties of trees to adorn streets and public spaces.
