The Mayor of Male' City, Dr. Mohamed Muizzu and Deputy Mayor, Mr. Ahmed Narysh led a five-member delegation of the Male' City Council at this week's World Cities Summit 2022 in Singapore.
The Mayor and Deputy Mayor were joined by Council Member for Galolhu West, Ms Mariyam Nazima, Council Member for Machchangolhi North, Ms Saeeda Rashad and Council Member for Machchangolhi South, Ms Aishath Nazima.
The biennial World Cities Summit is an exclusive platform for government leaders and industry experts to address liveabie and sustainable city challenges, share integrated urban solutions and forge new partnerships.
As part of the Summit, there was a Mayors Forum, in which Maldives was represented by Mayor Muizzu and Deputy Mayor Narysh.
The Summit was held from 31st July to 2nd August, in Singapore.
