A ceremony has been held to give out the awards for those who were placed during the recent Holy Quran and Madhaha competitions organised by the Male' City Council.
The function, which was held on Wednesday, was held in the Rannabandeyri Hall of Dharubaaruge.
A record 427 children participated in the competitions, with 293 in the Holy Quran competition and 134 in the Madhaha competition. There were attactive prizes on offer for those who were placed in both competitions.
