The Mayor of Male' City, Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has attended the opening ceremony of the Gaafu Dhaalu Atoll Athletics Championship, as Guest of Honour.
The Mayor was joined by Deputy Mayor Ahmed Narysh and Councillors Ibrahim Shujau, Adam Rameez and Ibrahim Aboobakuru.
Speaking at the ceremony, Dr. Muizzu said that he was impressed by the championship, and would endeavour to hold such sporting competitions in Male' City as well, in the near future.
